Music Industry Vet Joins New York Management Company 

New York, NY (August 7, 2019) – New York based music industry veteran executive William “Quayshaun” Carter has signed with The Inaxxs Group for representation.  

Carter has established himself as a considerable force within urban music. From his beginnings of being a signed artist on Epic Records, Carter learned from some of the best and brightest executives in the industry.  After touring with urban music notables Jodeci, Mary J. Blige, Boyz II Men, among many others, Carter moved from an independent promotions position at Uptown Records to a marketing position at Tommy Boy Records working with Frank Toro. With these experiences, Carter worked on some of the biggest projects of the era, such as Notorious BIG, Total, Coolio, Naughty By Nature, and De La Soul. He has managed the careers of Ying Yang Twins, Nappy Roots, and Petey Pablo, and now manages Grammy award-winning producers The Heavyweights, Grammy award-winning engineer Shamel Hughes, as well as new artists. Carter has assisted in generating well over 100 million dollars in revenue for the companies listed above as well as Ruffhouse/ Columbia and BMG. 

 In this new season of his career, Carter wants to share his experience and expertise with the next generation of music entrepreneurs. “I believe that Andre and his team at The Inaxxs Group can help me in spreading my knowledge and expertise to young people on a broader scale.” Carter is currently accepting bookings for colleges, panels, and other events.
